Those Whom I Love, I Disciple
Those Whom I Love, I Disciple | Scott Ritsema
In this life we follow certain rules and laws. Some are worldly laws, such as following traffic laws for our safety. Some are Godly laws, such as keeping Sabbath and respecting our Fathers and Mothers. These laws are put in place for many reasons, but they are largely for our own benefit. When we break these rules or laws, there are consequences. Some of them are harsher punishments than others, but we learn at an early age that when we do something wrong, there is some form of consequence afterwards.
In this final seminar with Scott Ritsema we will look into the concept of discipline. How can we train behavior? How can we give suitable punishments? How can we manage our children in Holy and productive ways? In all of our training and teaching we must also remember to do it all in love, because of love. Let us look to Jesus as our example as the perfect teacher to improve our own parenting skills.
