Focusing On Everlasting Life

How many times do our temporal pursuits and our focus on the “here and now” get in the way of seeing the bigger picture which is everlasting life? God is the Author and Finisher of our lives, He has started our journey and He has a big plan for us, but His plan of salvation is not forced on us. Our liberty is preserved. We must ask Him to reveal what He wants us to do and He will guide us to accomplish that purpose. God can turn all our unique circumstances and pathways into stepping stones to reach more people with His Gospel and lead them to His glory. When viewed in the light of eternity, all our temporal difficulties and hindrances can become an instrument through which the Gospel can go forth unhindered.
