The Mystery of Godliness

The Bible has a prophecy about God’s people fulfilling the “mystery of godliness.” What does this prophecy mean and how does God’s last-day Church fit in? Paul says, “For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.” God takes a sinner and makes him into something different, and, by doing so, He's revealing something to the universe. We see this in Paul's life--how someone who persecuted Christians could change, love Jesus and sacrifice his life for Him.
