In 1994, Phodidas lost his entire family during the Rwandan genocide. During the carnage, Dr. Ndamyumugabe worked to save lives and witnessed for his Saviour. After the genocide, he ministered to the suffering by preaching the Gospel and counseling survivors. Phodidas Ndamyumugabe has planted churches in Africa, Asia, and Europe and has organized and conducted more than 100 evangelistic campaigns. He is currently a professor of applied theology and biblical languages at Weimar Institute, in California.
